However, after three years of dating, the couple called it quits in 2014.

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo appeared to be the ideal couple. Sparks and Derulo sparked dating rumors in 2011. The couple confirmed their romance the following year and quickly became one of Hollywood’s “It” couples.

Derulo even thanked the American Idol alum for staying by his side during his recovery from a major neck injury in 2012. He actually told E! News He knew Sparks was the one after that moment, according to news.

Derulo proposed to Sparks in the music video for his song “Marry Me,” which was inspired by their real-life romance, in 2013, sparking engagement rumors.
