Sources claimed just days before their split that the two were “smitten” with each other and were making their long-distance relationship work while Pete filmed a movie in Australia and Kim stayed in Los Angeles. However, the Kim-Pete era appears to be coming to an end.
Why Did Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson Broke Up?
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson split earlier this week due to their age difference, according to Page Six.
On August 5, 2022, according to E! News, the couple decided to be just friends and have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” but their schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they’re just in very different places right now,” says the insider.
“Pete is completely spontaneous and impulsive, and he wants her to fly to New York or wherever he is at any time,” the source adds. “But Kim has four children, and it’s not that simple. She must concentrate on the children.”
According to the source, Kardashian, who owns several businesses and has her own reality show, was “totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
The “Kardashians” star had a tumultuous relationship with ex Kanye West, which caused strife while she was dating the “SNL” alum.
“When Kim is with someone else, Kanye can cause problems with the kids,” the insider explained. He is attempting to divide and conquer. He can’t help himself.
“Kim is a really dedicated mother, and her kids will always come first. She desires and requires harmony in her home and in her life.”
Kardashian and Davidson met in October 2021 while she was hosting “Saturday Night Live,” and began dating the following month.
“When we kissed, I just said, ‘Mmm!
’ It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing,” the SKIMS founder later said of kissing the comedian in a sketch on the late-night show.
